Equipment Inventory

All equipment collected from the client’s location, will be logged and any serial numbers or asset tags found will also be collated.

Hard Drives will be removed from equipment and kept securely locked in our data centre whilst waiting to be erased, or crushed and certified.

A test report will be produced detailing any issues found with the item or damage to it. Depending on the item’s condition, Austech will be then provide a revenue price for the client if applicable, or show a decommissioned tag which indicated it has either failed the testing process or has no value.

If classified as decommissioned, the drive will be stripped down and segregated into categories such as motherboards, cable, aluminium etc – This will then be sent to refineries for recycling.
